The first university-based and student-led M&A consultancy in the DACH region
AK Advisory is the DACH region’s first university-based student initiative aimed at providing first-year students with real M&A experience through our partner boutiques. A selected team of 10-15 students will undergo a training program within the M&A resort during their first semester, which includes an introduction to M&A as well as exclusive workshops with our partner boutiques and other companies, tailored for AK Advisory.
Starting from the first semester, we offer the opportunity to actively participate in live M&A deals with our partners, providing students with deep, continuous practical experience and valuable insights. Thanks to our close connections with our partner boutiques and workshop collaborators, we offer our members a fast track to securing internships early in their studies.
The Invest team focuses on learning about different asset classes through training sessions and workshops with our esteemed partners
In collaboration with industry-leading Investors, Banks, and Asset Managers we will introduce the members of the AKB Mannheim to fundamental research and valuation methods, different asset classes and give students the opportunitiy to gain insights into the work of Institutional Investors, Portfolio Managers, Traders, Market Makers and many more!
After learning important foundations in a training program, and exclusive workshops with our partners, the Team will have the opportunity to actively engage in Stock Pitch competitions and manage the fund of AKB Invest. Our focus explicitly lies on transferring knowledge regarding different asset classes, investment strategies, and valuation methods, as well as giving our members the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment-related industries.
